Default professional products manifold wire wont reach

Hey guys im trying to finsh my car for tonight and I cant get the wire to connect to the sensor in the back of the manifold its about 2 inches short. any helpful hints anyone. thanks

Put a butt connector in and lengthen the wire. Simple.

Any auto parts store will have small packs of them. They are used with crimping pliers to lengthen wire. You cut the wire off, strip the insulation, insert the bare wire into the terminal and crimp it with the crimping pliers. Then you cut another length of wire and strip the end off it and stick it in the OTHER end of the terminal. This lengthens the wire as much as you need it.

thanks for the idea but the wire Im talkink about is really about 5 or 6 small wires. Im thinking about trying to cut some of that electric tap off the harness and see if I can pull some extra wire out. but thanks for the idea.

i talked to you tonight.....im pretty sure your talking about the MAP sensor, if so i wouldnt cut that....first thing I would do is get back hold of the company you got it from, and inform them of your situation....USUALLY a good company will have information on glitches like this....

Yeah I think im going to do that monday. But I think i see were that oil pressure sending unit went but I will send you a pm so you can send me a picture.
