Who can port and polish my TB?
I was wondering who is porting throttle bodies now. I have been out of the LS1 scene for awhile and i am not sure who is still doing them. Is CamminBeast still porting TBs? If so how can i get a hold of him? I also have heard that BoWhite does them too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You could just buy a used one already ported like I did. I bought a used Shaner TB off this site. It was a satin S2 or S3; one of the epoxied versions. It was not polished. I then polished the throat and exterior myself. I then sold my stocker on eBay. Excluding polishing materials, which I can use on other projects, I actually made ~$30 on the swap. Something to think about.

About epoxy on the throttle bodies, it's a waste of time, potentially dangerous, and could have adverse affects on idle conditions.

Anyhow, the epoxy can chip off and go into your manifold and from there into all kinds of things

With porting nad the epoxy in it only picked up 40-50 cfm if my memory serves me correctly. Whereas it picks up quite a bit more with porting and no epoxy. Id have to get my buddy to look at the sheets again after he flowed them for curiousity. He's a R&D dude for Nascar stuff when we were looking at all the different options out there to do to them.

well, good thing this liquid steel is easy to drill. I didnt put it back in yet. Why did people start filling it with epoxy? I know the guy in the sticky did it. I dont know man, I was thinking about why some people do it because your actualy filling a bigger hole. I just did it cause the guy in the sticky did it and i thought it was proven to work or some ****. I think maybee I might remove the epoxy

Stop with this stupid **** or you're just going to end up being banned again. We've already gotten a laugh out of it in the admin. lounge this past week.
