Do any of you guys have evidence the FIPK is slower at the track?

It's actually a piece of metal that it sits on to deflect the heat from the radiator. I would check ebay. I'm sure you can find it

Not sure if this is a prehistoric dyno graph or someone screwing with MS Paint, but I asked for track times.

Sorry if my wording was confusing. I have the SLP lid on my stock airbox in my car right now, and have a another lid in my garage. I would like to find a base so that I can trade him my extra base and lid for his K&N. I just like to be able to have extra parts on hand for these types of situations.

I went with the fipk/slp smooth bellow and am very pleased with the fit. I didn't like the fit of my lid with a 85mm maf.My 85mm maf wouldn't slide inside the lid. That made the maf closer to the throttlebody plus the top of the maf pointed toward the center of the throttlebody. Now everthing lines up so much better.I also have more piece mind becuase everthing is sealed better. My ws6 hood is cut out behind the scoops so I don't think heat soak is an issue.

ahh, i just posted a want ad in the parts wanted section here and got a response in 3 days, a week from when i posted the ad i had a Whisper lid and lower air box for 80 bucks shipped. then i sold my K&N for 150 shipped and bought a Holley powershot filter. so in essence i broke even and still have roughly the same power (+/- 1-2 hp) and no fucking K&N oil in my MAF. im satisfied with my swap.
