Pacesetter vs. Kooks LT's Well I'm getting ready to do another head/cam package on the SS I just bought. I'm going to do a 90/90, AFR's and a custom spec cam somewhere along the lines of the TRAK cam. Well I thought about saving a few buck and buying pacesetter LT's instead of the Kooks and taking the extra cash and buying a nitrous kit. My question is that how much power would I leave on the table going with pacesetters. I had some pacesetter on my other car and loved them......but any info would be appreciated. |
All LTs are about the same when it comes to power. I just ordered coated pacesetter lts why pay 700 for kooks when you can pay around 400 for pacesetters. |
You leave no power on the table with Pacesetters. You will just wish you had that stainless chillin' under the hood later though.... :) |
I have Pacesetters on my SS and Kooks on my Trans Am. They are pretty similar i think but the stainless steel shouldn't ever rust |
Thanks for the input, i'm not really worried about having stainless. My car isn't a daily driver so fortunately it doesn't see any inclement weather. |
what about the stepped edelbrocks? |
i can tell you how much hp youd be leaving on the table with the Kooks... however much you decide to spray on it :D |
I would get the pacesetters if money is an issue, and Kooks if it aint a thang! |
