Worth pullin the Pacesetters for Kooks lt's ?
 

I currently have pacesetter ceramic coated LT's, ive had them on for about a year and have had good results (except for the fact that they are rusting on the bottom half ) .....Anyways, will it be worth the money to replace them with some stainless steel Kooks, will there be an increase off power or torque even though they are both 1 3/4 headers ? Also, even though they are stainless steel , could i have a problem with them rusting, I live in NC ?

I don't see why there would be a power difference (or at least a NOTICEABLE one). I have never seen stainless headers rust, personally. They will have a nice gold color once they get enough miles on them. I plan on yanking mine when I do heads/cam since I'll have to pull them when I do the heads anyhow. Too bad yours are rusting, mine have held up great through the winter/snow/salt here in NJ.

I wouldn't spend the money on the Kooks unless your current one just looks horrible. I also don't think they would be much of a difference.

Just noticed you got H/C coming soon so if you got the funds get it that would be the best time to put them in.

there will be no power difference. they will all do the same power wise

They dont look that bad, im just picky i guess, it looks like its mainly surface rust, maybe i can just sand it down and lay some high-temp paint on them

fuck no it aint worth it. your pracesetters will be fine I promise. kooks and QTP and those high dollar folks MIGHT have like a 5hp gain voer the other brands if that. theyre stianless and thats about the only reason id take them over ceramic coated headers but I wouldnt fork that kinda money out for them.

I wouldn't change them untill you need to. There will be no power difference. My kooks are 4 years old and not rusted and I live in New England (Rust capital of the world)
