Default MagnaFlow or Hooker AeroChamber

My 2000 Trans Am has a Flowmaster 2 chamber on him right now. I will be home from the Middle East in 18 days. Which one sounds better? Pacesetter LT's are on the mail to my house along with an offy y pipe. I am not going to run dumps or true duals.

You cant really ask which one sounds better, thats totally up in the air.

Im running true duals w/ no mufflers right now, off of Pacesetter LT's. Loud as **** but I think it sounds great. Neighbors hate me, though.

both sound very close to each other in my mind. I went with the hooker as it has quad tips and looks a lot better in the rears of T/A's, than the magnaflows.

I love my Hooker & you can still hear perfectly inside the car with the windows rolled up. Very little interior noise.

I researched them all and chose magnaflow.. a straight thru design that sounds good and NO drone.

I had the Hooker on my Procharged 570 Rwhp SS and it sounded great and performed even better. With the cut out wide open I gained 1 Rwhp and lost 4 Rwtq over the closed Hooker cat back. It had a deep mellow sound with no rasp at all but was loud as hell when I got on it. My personal experience between the Hooker and Magnaflo is they are both approx. in sound/performance. Just choose the one that best fits your budget and weather you want stainless or aluminized.

I've tried many exhausts on my fbodies over the years.
Always ended up back with the hooker.

magnaflow is good on a stock manifolds car, but its too loud and raspy with a ORY with headers. Hooker and the slp dual dual OEM are the best way to go with an header/ory setup.
