REplacement Waterpump non Gm, aftermarket
I looked on SDPC and a few other vendors. I see that there are 2 different electric water pumps which are the Meziere and the CSI. As far as GM waterpumps compatible with a 98 ls1 im seeing Ls1 factory installed pump and possibly the Ls2 water pump.
My question is, Are there any aftermarket water pump companies which use the belt drive? and are there any affordable electric water pumps?
worst case scenerio I can get a hold of a new GM pump at a fraction of the cost as my brother works at GM.

If I'm not mistaken, Evans cooling makes an aftermarket belt drive pump for the LS1. But, it's high dollar too...~$400 I think.
An the only real electric alternative is the Meziere...in either race or street form. Don't go with the race for the street though...
Sounds like the GM version may be your best bet.
