TR55's pregapped? I was just wondering if they come gapped? TIA |
yea mine came like they should gapped at .55 I think it was, but double check them b/c someone could drop them or something and it could mess the gap up. But generally they do come gapped where you need them |
I always double check the gap before they go in |

Mine came out at .044" average today. Went in at .058". Take 5 mins and set them up as you require. |
set them any where from .040 -.050 on an bolt-on ls1 |
TR55s are supposed to be gapped at .055. But as posted above, actual gap is usually a little off. The rule of thumb, is that no spark plug comes pre-gapped ;) |
i think they're supposed to be pre-gapped at .55 but most people run that at .50 (or even less) for mildly bolted on cars. i'm gonna change mine later this spring and will prob set them ~.50 |

so, is that where they should be gapped for a bolt on LS1? |
