slp lt's leak @ y pipe

while installing my converter I noticed that I have an exhaust leak on BOTH headers where the meet the 1st part of the y pipe (where they meet the race pipe/where the converter should be)

I have the clamp all the way TIGHT, should I get a regular style exhaust clamp or just have it welded?

I believe alot of people have they're welded.
