MAC's+Loudmouth?

Anyone running this? How loud is this gonna be without cats?I'm hoping this combo + LS6 intake & cam will put me mid 12's.My best ET to date is 13.15 @ 108 with a lid,GMS MAF,& a cut-out.Usually the car does 13.5's.My car has dynoed as high as 338 but is normally 320ish RWHP.Any feed back would be truly appreciated. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Your car will be UNGODLY loud. I had this setup for a while, and it really took the fun out of the car. There is a terrible rasp that just resonates at 2500rpms, the police will be all over you, and your neighbors will hate you....the ones that live 3 blocks away. My advice is to go one of two ways:

1. Go for the loudmouth, but put some dynomax bullets in the Y-pipe. I did, and it sounded better, but killed some power and I couldn't keep them from banging the floorboard.

2. Go for a quiet catback and put a cutout on it. I have the Mccord power plate on my cutout and a Dynomax ultraflow catback. I can have quiet or bone-shaking loud at the flip of a switch.

Yes LOUD. do you have either? And what about tranny auto or 6spd? Think about a converter if auto.
I run the hooker with macs-ORP and it sounds good. LM would just kill any chance of driving the car and liking the volume.

I have the SLP LM w/MAC headers & cats and a bullet muffler.

It sounds perfect. It is a little loud until the ST3500 locks up, but it sounds good. No rasp.
Sounds more old school muscle car sounding than anything.

At WOT, it just screams...................

I am planning to get an ORP installed for track only purposes, but maybe for everyday driving depending on how loud it gets.

The Loudmouth without cats is the most god awful sound I have ever heard. I was stuck with that setup for a couple of months, and was embarassed to drive my car in public...

Thanks.The consensus is LOUDMOUTH-CATS=DIRTBAG.
I guess I should follow up by asking"WHO MAKES THE BEST CATS?"
I've heard that MAC supplied cats are garbage.
