is the tornado a gimic I hate to even ask this question, but I have seen the Tornado gas saver for years in Hot Rod and on automotive shows like Horse Power TV. It claims increases in mpg and in horsepower (5-20 hp LOL) and I was wondering if any of you guys had one or had dyno'd one. It seems to me that this would fall under the "too good to be true" category. And it seems kind of counter intuitive as it creates turbulent airflow, and it seems as though turbulent air flow is the enemy in some parts of the intake system. Any takers, I have just always wondered about the validity of this thing, and the only info I have seen is from the company itself, so this is of course slanted. I am thinking it would not produce the results they say it will.

Re: is the tornado a gimic You're joking right? They may let the ad to be placed in GM Hi-Tech but that doesn't mean ****, they paid for the ad. Don't let a bunch of marketing hype fool you.

I put the question out there because alot of you guys with access to dynos have tried numerous combinations to see what will and what will not make power. I just figured that somebody had one of these things and had done a dyno pull with one installed. Like I said earlier, I don't believe the hype and I am very skeptical. I almost couldn't justify putting the post up, but I was curious about it.
Re: is the tornado a gimic I'd be willing to put a few dollars toward one for some one to dyno test. What are they $20-30 or so. I'd throw in $10.. Any takers? Never know till you try it right?
