What's the difference between the old and new FTRA?

Is it worth while to go with the new version vs the old? What kind of changes were made? TIA.

From what I understand, the main unit is the same but the deflector panel that runs from the air dam to the duct now has sides on it to reduce air spillage and so increase ram pressure.
