I'd buy that for a dollar!

Recently I posted a thread about a buddy of mine who upgraded from the LS6 to the FAST. I've worked on his car before and given him lots of tech help, so he hooked me up with his old LS6 for a buck, well here it is. I painted it gloss black BTW.

Cleaned and ready for primer.

One more

Got the coolant pipes on order from WS6store.com and should have it all bolted up next weekend maybe.

Hope it's a noticeable gain, my track times have been sucking.

It's good to have good friends.

lucky bastige

looks good!

So was it awkward when you handed him a single dollar?

joblo1978 May 27, 2007 07:49 PM

Well, I didn't even have a dollar, so my girlfriend gave him one. It was kind of weird, because I had the intake already. I was like, "are you serious?", you really want a dollar? And he said yeah, so she gave him one.

Best part is, if I upgrade to a FAST, I can sell this for nothing but profit. Mwaahahahahaaaaa!!!!!

honestly, if you did that, i'd split the money with him. i think he would deserve it, but that's my opinion. if he hooks you up, it would be nice to shoot him back one, know what i mean?

definitely a good pickup for a buck.

motoo344 May 27, 2007 11:19 PM

looks good, how coats are on it?

Ace$nyper May 28, 2007 12:35 AM

lol, that's a funny story.

I like that gloss black idea, it looks like a freshly cleaned unpainted stocker.

I'll do 10 bucks and split shipping :P

This is my payback for hooking him up multiple times. He wanted to pay me several hundred for installing his springs and shocks, and I was like, "just gimme 20 for a case." Also found him some buyers for other things as well.

Looks good. What kind of paint did you use?

I was thinking of painting mine red, just wasn't sure what kind of paint and how well it would hold up.

joblo1978 May 28, 2007 03:10 PM

Duplicoler engine enamel.

It will hold up, it's holding up on the calipers.

My ported FAST 78 was given to me by a friend who upgraded to a ported FAST 90/90.
