hay should i buy a 85mm or 80mm TB

Default hay should i buy a 85mm or 80mm TB

hay guys i am about to order a 85mm summit throttle body for my 99 ls1 is it ok to use a 85mm, will it fit fine? becasue i know i will be upgrading pretty soon to a 2002 ls6 manifold so i just want to buy the 85mm and use it for now on my engine thanks guys

the mouth of the ls6 is only about 78 or 80mm....

so what is the point of spending the $$ on an 85mm unit??

stick with a $50-75 ported unit....you'll see pretty much the same gains...with no worries of adapting or sensors.

humm well ok but will the 85mm fit tho, its not gonna hurt the car or anything is it becaseu if its the same price why not get the bigger one, for future plans u know thanks
