Default Interested in new mufflers, but are mine good enough?

I'm running the dynomax bullets on my x-pipe setup and am curious to know if there are any other mufflers out there that will outflow those? or do all mufflers pretty much flow the same? i've liked the bullets so far, but if i can get more out of my exhaust then i would definitely like to. i don't care about sound or looks, i just want them to flow well.

I doubt you would get much out of others.....DYNOMAX BULLETS are about as straight through as you can get....I am sure others will chime in and say I am wrong. HP wise..I do not believe there would be much of an increase with others.

AFAIK, cutouts are worthless on a TD system with bullets. ive ran with open headers, open X and with bullets and i notice no difference. in SOTP or timeslip wise. the only difference i see is noise level. and im telling you, a stock cammed LS1 with open headers sounds like pure **** in my book.

gains with various kinds of straight thru mufflers would never be enough to measure accurately on a dyno or track.

only improvement i could imagine would be with straight pipes...and even that would probably not be measureable.

stick wth what you have

Bullets are going to be the most free flowing muffler you can put on a TD system.
