Default mest up my tb... oh well time to upgrade...

i ported my tb over the weekend and took it out to much around the blade...opps... i have a ls1 with a stock ls6 intake... stock tb... thinking of upgrading to the bigest or best preforming tb for the ls6 intake... was wondering if i can put a ls2 or ls6 or any thing else on hear... thanks for all your help... mark

ls6 is the same tb....and a ls2 doesnt fit.....just get another ls1 tb and try again...learn from your mistakes

what about the summit 85 mil tb... has any one used them and had sucess the stock one is like 80 bucks more... what yall think thanks mark

the opening on your manifold is no bigger than the stock tb...so goin bigger will net you 0%

I remember reading somewhere (I believe on this forum) that if you screw up and port too much you can get some jbweld and fill it in.

EDIT........I'd pick up another stocker cheap before going that route. I read another thread about some epoxy falling out of their TB and getting wedged in the intake. The consequences aren't really worth saving $50.
