Default hay guys i have a Granatelli LS6 MAF! can i port it?

hi guys i have the ls6 MAF and this maf still has those two little things inside like the stock one kinda blocking the air flow, but this maf is plastic not like the stock aluminum one and this one isent seperatable so its harder to cut that restriction without damaging the wires, so i wanna know has anybody done this before? do you guys think i could do this without damaging something? thanks guys

If your car is working well with something other than the stock 75mm unit, consider yourself lucky, and leave well enough alone. The MAF sensors on these cars don't take kindly to being messed with (actually, the PCM doesn't take kindly to it since the calibration will no longer be accurate).

Definitely not a worthwhile mod on these cars.

if your worried about it holding your airflow back, why dont you just go to a SD tune?
