any benefit to running 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 over 1 7/8 headers?

any benefit to running 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 over 1 7/8 headers? Hey guys, I will be going with a stroker motor in the future so i want to upgrade my headers. I was wondering what the results would be with the stepped header over the regular 1 7/8 header. Im leaning towards the 1 7/8 kooks. Has anyone tried the hooker 1 7/8 headers? thanks Charles
