100% custom built LT's..............

Who does this and how much would that cost?

1 7/8" stepped to 2"

I see that ground clearance can be quite a bit better than all the LT's out there if they were angled better. I want them since my car will reamin lowered as is.

Anyone?

Kooks already makes a 1-7/8 stepped to 2inch headers. I wouldnt go with anything custom for the sole purpose of fitting closer to the floor unless you had solid motor mounts to stop them from hitting when the motor tq'ed over.

You're looking at ~$1500 for a custom set of headers, and they'll probably need your car for at least a week.

This company can build you some very nice top end header's. They build alot of the top end race teams exhaust systems. The owner has done alot of research on header design with different firing order's. My cam grinder knows the owner and informed me that the "LS1" firing order tends to like the tri-y headers. http://www.burnsstainless.com/

I already knew they built 1-7/8 to 2 steps but I was just throwing it out there if he insisted on having something built solely or his use and his particular car. :)

Whatever it takes. It looks like there's alot of room all around both collectors to keep them a good 1 1/2" further off the ground. Is there any negative in using those solid mounts? It seems there's always a cure to a problem in this world, but than you have to give up your left nut.

My car is lowered and I want to keep it that way. So custom is what I need, if I can really save some room off the ground.

My 1 7/8" Grots are pretty beat to shit, both sides. Couple little spots almost worn through.
