Default Hooker muffler and jet Hot long tubes w/catted Y

I like the sound of the Hooker cat back but hate the fact that its not stainless. So I was thinking about just swapping out the muffler on my OE catback and adding jet Hot long tubes w/catted Y. Do you think I will be giving up alot of hp by going this route? also will the Jet Hot Y pipe mate up to my OE catback? Thanks

Giving up a lot of HP over what? What else are you considering?

Jet hot Y should mate up to the stock I pipe without issue

You may be giving up some power without doing the full cat-back because the stock I-pipe diameter is 2.75" compared to the hooker 3". But, the hooker is a great flowing muffler (and cheap too) so I say go for it. Most will think you have stock exhaust until you give it a little throttle

My bad, kepping the stock catback and just replacing the muffler vs having the entire Hooker catback.
