Default New intake coming out?

When I was speaking to TEA a couple of weeks ago, they (I won't name who) were telling me that there was a possibly a new intake coming out this fall that outflowed the FAST and was cheaper. That's all they would tell me. Has anyone else heard of this new intake? Maybe someone from TEA will come in and either tell me to STFU or give some details. I hope they weren't lying!

Doesn't the L76 already out-flow the FAST?

Yeah, I hope so, we need more options. The FAST 90/90 costs way too much, the Wilson costs even more (a lot more), the Professional Products 85mm won't seal properly with my milled heads, the Weiand costs a lot but does not flow better than the LS6, the BBk doesn't seem to be worth buying, and the Victor Jr w/ elbow doesn't do any good for my N/A setup. I'm about ready for my heads and cam swap. So, I'm still going to buy the LS6 intake soon. But, I'm still interested in a new intake.

Wow, you mean if you shave the heads down, then the intake designed to fit when the heads are in the factory position won't fit anymore? I'm sorry, but I thought that this was a common sense issue. If you mill heads, then you moved where the intake ports are on the head in relation to the rest of the engine...hence you should expect to mill the intake to correct geometry issues you created. It isn't hard and any machine shop can do it. This would be true with any intake, not just the PP unit.

Explain how you would mill a fast intake to fit milled heads. I just dont see how you could mill the fast intake to fit if this happened.

The person he was questioning had a PP intake, not a FAST. The PP intake is aluminum, so it can be milled.

You mill the head surface where the intake seals, not the intake. Something that's been done for years.
