Borla XR1's are a very refined sound and are plenty loud. A local guy runs them and they sound great. I like my Sweet Thunders because they really enhance the choppiness of my cam. They made it sound like I had a decent cam when I was still stock internal. They are loud and in your face. Pretty much sound like a race car. Mine are run out the back under the axle and they are still loud as hell outside the car. I'll keep them....but I would also consider the Flowmaster 1-chambers. I've heard them and they are on par with the Sweet Thunders. Good luck.

I noticed Flowmaster 1 chambers were not an option. they really should be.

Jmm98ls1 made a thread after he installed them on his car. after listening to his sound clips i was sold. i now have them myself and i cant see me ever changing from this exhaust setup.

here are some of his videos:

i was always under the impression that the flowmaster 1-chambers had much less flow than the bullets/sweet thunder type of muffler. at least that was a big thing the the gto boards....someone switched out flowmaster 1-chambers for dynomax bullets and gained 4hp and 6trq.....so i was turned off by them.

but that video----^ sounds fcking DEADLY! if they really don't restrict flow like i heard......i think i might go with those!

I have them on my car.. I don't see how they can restrict flow at all. the baffles are so small and in the center that I can reach into each end of the muffler and touch my fingers together. lol.

XR-1's all the way, especially if dumped.
