Default how can you fix 0153 and 0133?? only two codes

who has LT and has not SES lights? the only codes i come up with is 0133 and 0153 any ideas? i did use the wrong RVT on the band clamps. for a few weeks but i scraped them off and used the mufler fix fiberglass like stuff, i swaped out the passengers side with a Vette (13111) rear 02 sensor and that fixed one of the other codes i had. now i only have these two.

it takes about 100-120 miles for the codes to kick back in once i cleared them

any ideas?

Those are both lean to rich condition codes.

P0133 is Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0153 is Bank 2 Sensor 1

Certain RTV silicone gasket materials give off vapors that can contaminate the HO2S.

Did you extend the wires? Those are slow response codes. Have you gotten a tune yet? You could just be ruining your 02's by running rich, thus throwing codes.

I've never done or heard of that being done but I may be wrong.

No, no SES lights here.

You might need a tune if those o2 sensors are new.

Your fuel filter has nothing to do with this. Those extensions are causing your 02's to read slower than they should. That is your problem. That, and you're trying to drive around and fix things without a tune, so you're just doing temp fixes each time.

You shouldn't need extensions for the front. The 13111's are long enough (since they were made for corvette rears), and then you don't even need rears (so you have to have them disabled when you get your tune). So, the solution is, get two 13111's for your fronts, check your plugs and replace if they've gotten too crapped up from dumping fuel, and get a tune immediately.

Does the light come on when you start the car or when you are driving? Those codes would come on for me when I would start the car after the #13111s were installed. I then started to turn the key forward in run but not crank the car for 20 seconds to allow the o2s to warm up before starting the car. Since I started to do that the codes have not come back. That was 7 months ago...Almost forgot,I also removed my SLP lid at the same time and reinstalled my stock lid because it started after I put the SLP lid on.
