Default Where to put DMH cutout on TSP Y Pipe.

That's not my pic, got it off this board. Either way i'm trying to see where the best place would be to put the cutout, i'm actually trying to avoid welding it on, maybe get it on with clamps, if not i'll get it weilded to a peice at a shop then i'll install it as a whole... question is, where?

I was thinking of putting it bewteen the last y pipe connection where it meats the I pipe but i'm wondering if that safety plate that bolts on with 4 bolts there will interfear. Any opinions?

i put mine right before the muffler in the hump of the rear seats, it helps alot with clearance, as well as sound inside the car

I would say have them cut a section of the i pipe and put it there. Your better off welding it on, i see it as the less **** you need to clamp down the less of a chance of getting an exhaust leak.

Kinda of trying to avoid welding anything to the car. Do you guys think it will fit where the y connects to the I?

it will fit but due to the fact you will have to turn the cutout portion down it will murder your clearance.
