Default Air Vents not working right after Head swap??

Can anyone think of a reason why the air vents won't blow out of the top vents and only out of the bottoms vents after a head swap??? Do they run off vacuum? Is it one of the vacuum lines at the back of the intake or something? I'm confused....

Sounds like a vacuum leak

You're on the right track, if they're only blowing out of the top/bottom that's the default mode when you have a vacuum problem. Check the lines behind the intake and going towards the passenger side.

someone missed the vacuum line that plugs into the rear of the intake under the MAP sensor. if it's plugged in, then it got broken further down.
