i searched "lane's true duals" "lane's exhaust", etc. on google, but all that came up was a few forums that mentioned it, but i couldn't find anything related to where to buy them. |
Lane had a shop a while back.I know it closed and I dont believe he does duals anymore. |
ahh man. i was afraid of that since all the threads i found were really old. thanks though |
Only other prefabbed one I know of that exits out the back is the Bassani, which is what I am probably going to purchase in the spring. Does any other kit exist? |
Next best thing would probably be TSP duals and find some one to run them out the back. |
i'm thinking about that one too. and that i know of, the bassani is the only one to exit out the rear and the tsp is the only other one, but it's dumped. the guy that sells XS headers mentioned in another thread that their working on a TD system for ls1's, so i'm going to hang tight until i hear something from them first, since they have such good prices on their headers, i bet their TD system will be priced well too. |
I have some of the first sets of the Lanes true duals. Good luck finding some still. |

I had a set of Lanes on my Formula that I just sold. Solid system and sounded great...only thing i didnt like was the hanger design. it was bolted to the floor board, and welded to the exhaust. I had to have it rewelded after about 2 years because i hit a one too many bumps, and the hanger ripped at the welded and came off the pipe. A $20 fix, but a hassle nonetheless. If i kept the car, I was going to weld a hanger to the floor, and a hanger on the exhaust with a rubber bushing in between to help absorb some of the force if it scraped or bottomed out any more... |
dutinsss where are you located? There is a guy in the DFW area that builds custom duals. He used to work at Lanes also. |
