Was wondering what they sound like because I think I might have one. Can anyone give me some insight.

LOL. Then thats it. It is driving me damn near crazy. Where would it come from. Maybe the headers? It sounds like it is coming from the engine bay.

By the way I have a friend out at Camp Pendleton, I believe. He is doing Marine Recon training.

Have a friend cover the tailpipe with a few rags while you look for the leak. It will dramatically increase the sound.

Just get under the car and listen. If you think that you've found it, put your hands around it (NOT ON IT) and you will feel the air escaping. If your car is high up on jack stands / lift you can probably see black spots on the pipe and/or the underbody of your car.

Peace,
Craig.

I am wondering the same thing. Should I just weld everything up, because right now it is all clamped.

take a stethascope to pin point the sound. or just use a small air hose and have one tip by your ear and move the other end to where you think you have an exhaust leak.
