HELP!! Found this in my oil pan!!

Default HELP!! Found this in my oil pan!!

I was out changing the oil on my car today..and when i took the bolt outta the oil pan. This was attached to it. The car ran find about a week ago when i started it after a heads/cam install. Oil pressure was fine. Idled fine. NO codes nothing. Fuel pressure was perfect. No ticks/sounds of any kind. What is this!!!

Can you take a picture with it beside a ruler or something to reference the size? for some reason to me it looks like the end of the oil pan bolt with the magnet on it.

headbolt? dont know how it would have gotten in your oil pan tho

Here is a picture of it next to the oil pan bolt. its not a head bolt cuz its hollow. The ONLY thing i can think is part of the dipstick tupe? That goes into the oil pan itself?
The one side is rough, like it broke of from something.

Tha's the tip of the dipstick tube, have seen it many times. You will have no problem running without that piece.
