Ok I give up. I has search past forums for about 45min. The question, will 2004> GTO or 2001> f-body shorty headers fit a 2001 Vette?

Most shorty headers have there exit location at the same as stock, to be able to bolt up as stock exhaust system.

The C5 would have a more center exit location and the F-Body would be more rearward. Not sure what is in the C5 area but it is possible that the fireway or frame might come into contact. If the C5 guys don't know, take a picture of the area and post it so that we can look.

I highly doubt it would fit...

I thought the 'Vette manifolds would flow a bit better than the F-body styles.

No, the corvette's and gto's had a different exit point on the manifolds.

so why shorties? smog reasons??
