yea mine used when all I had was the cat-back. It stopped doin it after I put the 85mm intake and tb on mine. Now it only does it when its cold and I get a good bang between each shift. It also does it if the engine is decelerating in say 3rd gear at 2500 rpms and I shift up to 4th it gives another little bang.

I'm leaning towards Borla.. I've had SLP on my Iroc's and its pretty raspy..I want a deep bellow..I don't want it to sound like a drag car either..I heard SLP loudmouth and Borla videos on youtube and I like the borla..What do you guys think?

Man I had a hard time choosing this too....
I went with a Cherry Bomb Turbo muffler it sounds really good. Not a lot of inside noise but mean bassy rumble outside like a V8 should.
To me I really didnt like the tinny sound of the flow-masters..
Not to mention the Cherry Bombs where a hell of a lot cheaper..

I got lucky and mine had a corsa on it when I bought it. It's definitely a good throaty sound that is not too loud for my daily driving. If I can afford it, I plan on buying it for any future f-body or vette I own. It's also a lot more unique than everybody else's flowmaster and borla that I always hear...

I have GMMG with Kooks LT's and it sounds nasty when you floor it, and pretty tame while cruising. I did a lot of research before I purchased this combo because I only wanted to do it once, and it's a lot of money...~2k for the whole system. But I love it and get a lot of heads turned, including guys on loud *** Harley's. I've never heard a better sounding cat-back then GMMG.

I will be taking off the hooker on my car and going with the slp dual dual that isn't made anymore.
I need it quiet when I have to get out of my neighborhood at 5 in the morning.

True Duals with an X pipe will give you the best sound IMO. I've had so many compliments on my True Dual system that I've lost count. If you want deep muscle car rumble, roaring growl through the gears, and at WOT; what only can be described as what the Apocalypse would sound like on earth and NO rasp or popping.... go true duals... it's cheaper too and offers the best flow, I can't see why anyone wouldn't want them. Onnnlllyy problem is they hang a bit low under the car and will affect your ground clearance.... it's not too bad though.

I have an SLP LM1 on my 95Z. I think it sounds great but a couple of my friends think it sounds like a dump truck. I guess everyones opinion is different, try to hear different exhaust systems in person before you shell out the cash!!!

lol... again (as always the case on this forum) people vote for what they have. it should have been called "what exhaust is on your car."
basically, to the OP.. listen to all of them (sound clips are all over the net) and chose the one you like the best.
i chose SLP.. so i'll vote for that. If the car had true duals, i'd run with 40 series flowmasters.
