Unhappy Exhaust Fumes stink! any ideas?

I have noticed that it stinks really bad but no I have other people telling me this so I was just wondering whats the deal. It has a sulfur smell to it so I've been told..

I know having a bigger cam and no cats will not make the exhaust smell stronger but I don't think it shoud stink "like sulfur" b/c I love the smell of exhaust usualy.

any ideas??

the car has been tuned and tuned really really good.

go to your local small airport and get some 100LL, or mix in some race gas.......smells oh so good.lol just hell on o2's(sad)and there is always some cherry bomb fragrance to add. if your tune is right dont worry about it. it will grow on you(or kill you)

it might just be the brand of gas you are running. differant stations have differant specs for there gas. and they formulate it for the weather too, so you might notice at differant times of the year it changes slightly

Maybe. I've been running 93.
Yeah race gas is hell on 02's thats why I stay away from it but I love the smell.

I just don't think it should have a sulfur smell. I just get sick of hearing people complain about it smelling like ***. Maybe I should just get that smell good crap haha.

How many people have used it???

you really don't want to use cats? They would probably help a lot.

More LSA will let more raw fuel pass into the exhaust and yeah the cats aren't there to burn off the added extra fumes.

What I'm saying is that is smells like *** noe like exhaust. Sulfur doesn't smell like exhaust to me. and yeah it's gotten a lil worse. maybe ill try going to 91 at a different gas station.

I know what you meen. My wife don't like it cuase she smells like exhuast when she gets done riding in my car. They do make some additive for gas to make it smell differant, like coconut, apple, cherry, stuff like that. I don't know who caries it but Oreilly Auto Parts had it at one time. You may have to go to a speed shop to get it. You could also use a bunch of frebrez and some can air fresheners under the seats.

ok sounds good, lol. I've had my exhuast dumped right under the car. Just got it ran to the back last week. I just relized now that you said that what you mean by thinking there is something wrong with your car cause the smell. If its tuned good correct a/f ratio which you said it is that is just your exhuast smell. The only people that have to smell it are the ones your out running.
