what's involved fitting an LS2 intake on an LS1?? other than a ported ls2 intake and katech fuel injector adapters, what will i need?? what kind of TB, what kind of rails, any special parts or brakets etc... anything you can give me here would be great |
bump for the good guys... |
bumping again |
You would be far beeter off with a LS6 intake & a ported stock TB. We don't see any gains w/the LS2 unless it is a FI application then they are ideal. If you go heads/cam then the FAST 92 is the best bet w/our 95mm TB. |
its going on a twin turbo motor |
you will need to lengthen your map sensor wire as its located on the front and not the rear. you will need a seperate throttle cable bracket as there is no way to attach the ls1/ls6 bracket. any 4 bolt aftermarket 90mm t/b will work. i went with aftermarket rails with mine as it was just easier to me. Tracy at revextreme should be able to hook you up if you want to buy new when it comes to the t/b and rails. Scroggin has the bracket. i think thats it. |
thanx for the info ws6njax, any fuel rails designed for the LS2 would work?? i trid searching SDPC for that bracket, no dice. would it be hard to fab? |

We have the fuel rails for the LS2....just need to specify short LS injectors or the longer LS1's. The LS2 takes a larger diameter injector. :thumb: |
