any H.P gain from 2.5 oryp to a 3inch ?? my friend runs a midas and told me today that he will custom make me a 3 inch oryp to replace my mac oryp. He is also going to cut my ball flange off my mac headers will this combo be worth any H.P?? If so anyone looking for a mac oryp? thanks

Re: any H.P gain from 2.5 oryp to a 3inch ?? Don't expect any gains from doing the swap. It's probably more trouble than it's worth honestly. Increasing pipe size is not always a guarantee of a power increase.

Also i was hoping to rid myself of a little rasp.I have heard people say you gain some power from getting rid of the ball flanges on mac's as well as switching to the flowmaster oryp y collector so i thought that a full 3 inch oryp right to my borla can't hurt plus the price is right.
