Default Custom pacesetter y-pipe with flowmaster 3.5" merge

First off I'd like to thank Steve and Tommy(ls2 bait) for making this beautiful y-pipe. If anyone has ever seen ls2 bait's exhaust setup, well it was made by the same guys, except just aluminum pipe. It's not that much to get this merge put in. They asked for 150$ I gave them an extra 50$. After we were done with the y-pipe, we decided to give it a coat of some duplicolor high temp silver paint. Sound is definitely a lot less raspier than before. I still have some leaks but I'm going to get some v-clamps and not worry about it. Even with the leaks it sounds hell of a lot better then before. Will upload vids soon.

1st rev is with cutout open, 2nd with it closed (stock catback)

Looks good! I'll be doing the same thing here in a few weeks, but making a y pipe from scratch (exhaust pipe expander, 180 degree mandrel bends, and a chop saw f t w!). I'll be using the dual 3" in 3.5" out flowmaster merge, electric cutout, and then into an slp dual/dual catback. Quick question....where'd you snag that little 3.5" to 3" reducer? I got a local exhaust warehouse/supplier here in town, but if you got it from summit or something similar i'll order it with the merge.

Looks good. Do you know what they did to get those flat spots in there on the drivers side, while keeping the bottom round?

I'm doing the same, except for a 4" electronic cutout, then reduced into a 3 to the SLP dual dual. I had 2 cutouts after eact header, but they hung down too low, and took away from the steath factor.

The flat spots are from pacesetter they were on the pipe originally.

yupp he nailed it. to me it looks like the had a 3" dye and lay the pipe in it then use a hydraulic press and just put it down on the pipe.
