Impressions of Magnaflow over Flowmaster 80 series......
 

Well, just got my car back from the exhaust shop. Only thing I had done was to switch the muffler out from the flowmaster 80 series ,( I had the flowmaster cat-back) to the Magnaflow. I was looking for less in car drone, and a little more mellow exhaust note. What I got ?? Not much.....
Car sounds almost the same, still as loud, with just a tiny bit less noise, but hardly distinguishable. The sound is a little better, but very little.
Could the in car drone be from my gutted cats ? I assume that they must create sort of an echo chamber now, and are only bad for the exhaust note.
My coated pacesetter go on the 15th, and I will be losing the cats at that point. Hopefully it will reduce some of the noise in the car.
