Default Just installed wideband now wonding about my AFR

I installed the AEM wideband today and was out trying it out. I noticed if I would lug it in high hear the air fuel would go to 12.2 but if I would really hammer down and rev it to redline it would stay in the 13.2-13.4. Does that seem kinda lean for WOT?

I haven't tested mine while lugging but for WOT my afr was right where yours is. It was at 12.5 but we adjusted it and now for my set up it's perfect/safe. (No more pinging)

just a lil lean, not much .... 12.8-13.0 at wot would be ideal

12.2 at crusing is not right though, it should be maintaining stoich in closed loop (14.7:1)

I guess I didn't explain it very well, the 12.2 was holding it to the floor at low speed in a higher gear lugging the engine. Just driving at highway speeds it is at 14.6 to 15

Well for the case you say above the velocity of the air and fuel mixing will be crap. I'm guessing the combustion will suck and you will have a lot of unburned fuel passing through.

I personally would not trust digital a-pillar mounted widebands. Datalogging is about as accurate as you can get if you really want to see your AFR.

why is that? To me that doesnt even make any sense as to why it would be any different than the "box" ones, lol, except for the fact you can plig your laptop in it. Also if this is true why are they so expensive if they dont give accurate numbers?
