its not really possible to fab up ur original cats to the LT's because the originals are angled

How are you going to run the original cats? I have a custom exhaust from the headers back and it was hard to fit the cat on the drivers side. My car is lowered and it scrapes over speed bumps if I'm not careful

some cutting and welding and it can be possible . . . even though i avoid every speed bump i'm aware of the ground clearance issue with my car being lowered. i just want this SES light gone and i'm not ready yet to go get a tune, i'm plannin on waitin till i get my cam and heads in then get a tune . . . so cats back on with o2's plugged in and have no more code. just tryin to see my possibilites

then get some o2 sims!!!

u can also add a bung to the rear o2's to make them come out a bit more and that can also eliminate the ses code

it would quiet it down would it not? currently my exhaust is race version pacesetters with 2.5" H-pipe true duals into LM1's and under the axle out the back. but also stock cats wouldn't be that great for the cam i have goin in since i need the best flowing exhaust . . . so i'm kinda at loss, opions? should i just say screw it and get the tune now and re-tune when i get the heads in cam in, put cats on with o2's or put o2 sims in?

If you have race LTs, I assume you have removed the A.I.R. Cats won't last long without it. You are best off getting the tune now. Retunes are usually not expensive.

dont get a complete tune! u can sometimes get ur tuner to do it for free. he will jus remove the ses codes! or like i said they sell an adaptor that will bring out the o2 from the piping, this will stop the codes because the o2 will sense that there is not much smog flowing through the sensor

thanks guys . . . i'm buying a set of o2 sims and i'll put them in next week
