Default Install 30lb injectors or stay with stock

I have a set of 30lb flow matched ford red injectors. I just bought a camaro with the a4 that has a 3500 stall with stage 2 patriot heads and a torquer v3 cam with ls6 intake. I was wondering should I install the 30lb injectors before I go for a tune or just see what it does with the stock injectors? The car has a crappy street (NON Dyno) tune that was put in it when the cam was changed but no tune for the heads. I am fixing to have the car dyno tuned. I know if I install the injectors after the tune I will have to have a retune.

Be sure to put them in there before you get tunred no brainer...then you can sell your old ones on here.

You will need them. The factory injectors are not enough for your combo. But you can't install them then drive it to the tuner. The IFR table needs to be recalibrated before you start it once they are installed. They are easy to swap, talk to your tuner and see if you can install them there.

For a '99 Camaro and your mods, I would swap to the 30lb injectors and get it tuned.

Its going to run very rich if you just throw in SVO30 injectors with factory IFR table

We normally ask people to drive us the car with stock injectors, have us install the injectors and dyno tune, or send us their PCM so we can make a base file for the injectors, so they can safely drive it here for dyno.

not sure what year car this is since the one in your sig says sold. if it has the 26.4's in it they will be very close to maxed. if you have the 28.8's you will be fine. i would wait to drop them in at the tuner if you change them, but its not gonna self destruct if you drive them untuned, it will just be pig rich.

i would look into swapping the new ones in or either finding ones that are not ford and that are bigger because theres no way stock injectors can support that

99's have the smaller injector so i would either drop the red tops in or pick up a set of 98 or 02 28.8's. the red tops are fine and are a very popular swap. you will be close on the 26ers. the red tops will be 34.6lb ers on 58psi fuel pressure.........
