Switching to TSP TD's.....which mufflers???

I'm about to redo my exhaust system. I'm switching to stainless LT's with the TSP TD's. Which one of these 3 mufflers would you choose: sweet thunder, moroso spiral flow or dynomax bullets? I don't want to be heard 3 blocks away. I just want a nice rumble at idle but I don't care how loud it is at wot. I went to ls1sounds but with dialup:bang: it's fustrating waiting on the page to load. With that said which muffler would you go with???

id go sweet thunders :thumb:

Spiral flows are the quietest, Sweet thunders have the most tone, and Dynomax bullets, well... I'm not recommending these for you. Far too loud for your desires. I'd probably say the Spiral flows for what you're looking for.

Hate to break it but none of the choices TSP offers are "quieter" than the other, they just have different tones. I've installed the TSP TD's with all 3 different mufflers, and they're all equally loud IMO. They just sound different.

If you don't want to be heard 3 blocks way, you're going to need bigger mufflers to quiet the car down.

Sweet thunders get my vote!

Are there any sponsors on here that sell just the x pipe with no mufflers. That way I could get a bigger muffler put on there myself. Which muffler would you go with then??

You can keep any muffler pretty quiet if yo ujust go easy on it. I am going to be getting TDs as well from TSP, most likely, and have been exhausting my options. Hands down I would take the Sweet Thunders.

Sweet Thunders all the way. At first the exhaust is going to sound just purely obnoxious. I was very doubtful about the exhaust when I did it but to everyone else they said it wasnt too loud unless i put it through the floor. Just go with the sweet thunders and give yourself a few days to get used to it.

Speed Inc. has x-pipe kits.

All 3 muffler options are going to be fairly loud. If you are looking for a quieter muffler in the car, I would go with the spiral flows. They seem to have the least interior noise of the 3 choices. As far as sound outside the car, they are all pretty similar. This system is loud but it produces a tone that is much deeper than anything I have seen with a ORY/catback combo without the rasp. Let me know if you have any other questions and we will get you fixed up asap! :drive:
