make sure your MAF is clean if you run K&N filters
On a dyno session I had on Friday my car was running quite lean (where it wasn't a problem in the past). It was close to 14.0:1 A/F at WOT
We tuned it back to 13.0 but then realized the MAF was covered with K&N airfilter oil We pulled the MAF and cleaned it and made another dyno pull. A/F then dropeed from 13.0:1 to 12.0:1 So after all that fuss, the original fuel maps were reinstalled and the A/F is now a clean 13.0:1 across the board.

Wait a second, doesn't the elements of a MAF go into a "burn-off" cycle once the engine is shut off to burn away any contaninants?
