If it will work, I'd like to know what I'd need to get them to work. I noticed they both have the air pipes coming off the manifold/header primaries, but I think they're in different places. If this won't work, let me know.

I *think* the AIR tubes are different from 99 to '01+ So you may need to buy 01+ Air Tubes. ALSO! Your car is equipped with EGR and those headers have absolutely no provisions for EGR.

In short, Delete your EGR and AIR!

Where is the EGR provision at? I was more wondering about the 02 positions.

01-02 Have NO egr, you will notice there is two connections on your passenger side exhaust manifold. One for the AIR and one that connects to the ugly thing on the front of your block. That second one is your EGR, since 01-02's dont have EGR there is no spot to plug your EGR into on 01-02 headers

Pongo, thanks for the input. I just wanted to know before I think about doing the swap. I plan on doing a ls6 intake anyway which would block off any existing egr tubes/connections anyway. Would it hurt anything if I blocked off the egr connection to my 99 intake? I guess as far as air goes, I could get the 01 air metal tubing sections and lengthen/shorted the rubber hose section as needed. Thanks again. I want to make these work pretty bad. Hopefully the oxygen sensors are in the same places.

No prob for the help Pretty sure the o2 sensors will be OK, you need extentions anyways, so you can put the sensors where ever they need to go. I personally took off my EGR & AIR before I got my LS6 intake or my headers. It throws a code, but I had absolutely no issues even with the SES light on. You can always get the codes edited out so it wont throw a code anymore. Check out this link, it shows you how to remove the AIR&AIR, and what you will need to blockoff things.

Cool. I have a Predator to check and clear codes anyway. Would it hurt anything to leave the air on? (no pun intended)- Sweet link. I've never been to that site, time to check it out. Might as well take the air off.
