Crossmember w/ LT's?????

Crossmember w/ LT's????? I've been riding around a couple of months w/o the thin, stock crossmember. I'm just wondering if you're supposed to leave it off when the headers go on or what. I'm sure it won't hurt anything.

Its not there for strength...I could bend mine by hand.....it flexes way to much to be a strength piece...I think its a safety thing.....like a driveshaft hoop...but not really...

Re: Crossmember w/ LT's????? Yeah thats the part. I know it's not for strength, it's WAY too flimsy for that. I'm just wondering if it can be put back on with LT's.
