when i had my fipk i considered doing that. but i would have made it look bettter though. looks like a damn badger chewed that to pieces.

Cuts look terible, needs some plastic edge over the cut edges and maybe repaint it.

^^^^ I agree. You need to clean up the edges a bit, then it would look better.

I'm not sure how functional it will be without being enclosed. I had the FIPK before switching recently to the FTRA setup...the car seems to respond much better after the change....this is without a new tune being done yet.
My buddy did the switch before me and had his car re-tuned, they found that his IAT decreased substantially, and throttle response was better with his SLP version of it.

If the owner of those shots just tossed some black door bolding from autozone on there it would look pretty good.

Doesn't Seem Like Such A Good Idea To Me, A Little Air Stolen From The Radiator By Duct Is Alright But Look At The Air Your Losing That Is Suppose To Be Cooing Your Radiator I Would Definitely Rethink It..i Have This Setup How Much More Air Can You Ask For Then A Totally Open Filter.

For the love of God, use a dremel, or some rubber moldings you can buy at home depot
