Default dynoed with mti clear lid and tsp smoked lid.

Went to dyno my car for the first time. Zturd has been bugging me for a yr to see what it does. The first two pulls were done with the tsp lid. First run was shut down cause it ran too lean. second run for me 393 rwhp. We put the MTI lid just to see what would happen. On my 3rd I 398 rwhp and 370 rwtq.I gained 5 rwhp and 7 rwtq all through the rpm range. Now to get some edit done and see what it does.

My car always dyno's higher on the third pull. Congrats on the #'s regardless of who's lid was on.

CamSS00,

Get the car tuned do three pulls with the TSP followed by a pull by MTI. That would be better data. IMO.

Great numbers!!!

Hugger. I think regardless of tuning. It just didn't pick up in one place. it picked everywhere. Crazy that is with stock heads.

The data is fine, thank you for the info. I had the tsp lid, you loose to much total volume over any other lid, never put it on my car.vic

3rd pull is always the best. Need to do two sets of 3 pulls back to back with both lids on and adequate cooldown.

I understand that the 3rd would be the best, but it picked up power all through the rpm range.

yep, I agree completely. I've had the 3rd run be 10-15rhwp higher many times.

A lid is a lid. Most dyno's have a correction factor of + or - 5hp.

Choose a lid based on price or appearence.
