BBK LT's + Y (2 part question)
 

First, I know this subject has been beat up on a lot but I want some real opinions from people who actually have used them (on a 4th gen) or who have them on now. They are a real good price for coated and y together, I dont remember which sponser has them but I am really leaning toward them. Second part, has anyone ever ran a catted y with them or added some cats to the y pipe. Pics would be appreciated as well.

You got a good price. Yes I still have my shortys and like them. Great company to deal with.
I called HO and they told me where to get them and at the same price they sell them for, they where cheap.
My car runs well because the O2's are basically in their stock location. With my SLP L/Ts the car ran rich and needed to be tuned. I didn't want to go through the hassle of tuning and of course the SLP's hang low. My wife drives the car and didn't need her to rip those things off.
I would get those BBK's and I like the Y pipe for the simple reason that you can adjust it a little for a perfect fit not like SLP's one piece Y pipe. It's tough to manger in place.

One more thing do you need EGR and AIR hook up?

Nah i am going to delete AIR and EGR and do a mail order tune with Frost.

There $499 for the LT's + Y Pipe combo shipped from LMPerformance.

There's a guy with the protype's of these LT's on his T/A. Do a search, you'll find his thread. There's also anotha guy with a Camaro i believe who has them on. I would let you know how they turned out, but i dont have mine installed yet man. Looking to order a cutout before i install them.

I have some of the chrome version lying around. They seemed like nice pieces when I pulled them out of the box to inspect them etc. I was actually considering having some cats welded into the y-pipe but I haven't bothered to really look into it yet.

Yeah I read his threads (SoulTKR that is) , that is a bad ass car, thats whats making me lean towards these headers. I havent purchased them yet, but the Y pipe looks realy good and i can get a set of High Flow cats for around 40$ ea. It looks like it would be easy to get them welded in the straight part of the Y. Price wise you cant beat it and I havent heard anything bad about fitment.

Ok, I just ordered them. I got them at a great price IMO. I hope i dont regret this. Will post pics throughout install.

Which high flow cats are you planning on using?

Got a set of magnaflow, (forgot part #)when they got here today they were dented up, so i refused delivery. Got them to reship new ones overnight.

What size did you get and where did you get them for $40 a piece? Most of the magnaflow ones I see are like 80-100 a piece. PM me if you don't want to post a non-sponsor link.
