Let's compare LS2/6.0 alum block rumors please
Let's compare rumors.
What I have heard contradicts Forcefed's comments.
I have heard that the LS2 6.0 block has the crank sensor in the same location, but the cam sensor is now in the front.
Can anyone corroborate?

Forcefed? Looking to compare notes with you.
If the cam sensor is in the front according to my source then the 97-03 LS1/LS6 camshafts will not interchange...

What about the new rumor that the GenIV is going to be 3 valve heads, still 2 pushrods though?

I was very surprized about this one. With the overwhelming sales success of the current Z I though that the new Z would be kept in the same price range (parts sharing). I had come to expect a base vette with a 6.0L escalade derivative motor, and the Z with a punched out 6.0 block and different pistons/better rotating assy. IMHO when they added the extra camshaft and unique heads they put the new Z out of my price range .
