Good shop in South Florida to assemble a short block?
I was wondering if anyone knew of a shop in South Florida to put together a short block for me that'll do a great job at a decent price? I should have all the parts to build me a 370 iron block by christmas time, just don't know where to go to get all the machine work and assembly done! Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Do yourself a HUGE favor and take the 3 hr ride to Orlando and let Norris Motorsports do what you want. He's as good as they come.

well i dont want to jump the bandwagon on bashing norris, but he never got your ARE built motor running right, fuel issues like crazy (with it cutting out at top rpm), and he couldnt figure out your slipping tranny/convertor. you have a bunch of posts, and bro, i feel for ya big time, but i couldnt imagine refering this shop after what they did to your big dollar ARE super stroker.

Quickin's car didn't blow up, LOL.
For the record and Mike can speak for himself, Norris does build short blocks. He does his own head porting too. He's probably the best guy to go to in Florida. He's a nice guy too and that helps.

Okay, so here's another question, anyone here have a Norris built shortblock? How you like it, how's it holdin up, is it takin a lot of spray, you puttin down good numbers with it, any problems with it at all? Just some questions to find out how his work is from first hand experience from people that have his shortblocks. Anyone out there have 'em, cuz I haven't really heard of anyone with them.
