Default LS6 vs CNC'ed LS6 heads

Anybody have some kind of diffrence in what RWHP a set of LS6 heads vs a set of CNC'ed LS6 heads would be? Would it be worth it more to just buy another set of better heads after the cost of getting the LS6 heads CNC'ed? Keep in mind you can pick up a set for 300-450 bucks these days.

You really need to use the search button. As for your question, it all depends on set up and who does the ports work. IMO yes, its worth it

Dude just stay off my threads. Thanks. I have searched for months....I had an entire setup...I had an accident in the car and had to replace all my wheels and tires after I just bough all new tires all the way around....cost a lot of money that I dont have since I closed on my first home last month and have christmas coming up...so I totally sold my kit.

Now I am looking at a budget built.....so to explain further for you...that means I am looking at a setup that will work and make good power for the least amount of money possible...so if I can buy a set of heads that is going to run me a few hundred dollars less and perform just as well...im guna do it.

The doors that way...say out.

i had a set of stage1 ls6 heads from TSP and they performed well. my brother has a '01 z06 with stock 243's and MTI x1 cam and does 425rwhp. pretty much i would maybe guess from 15-30hp difference pending who does the cnc work like stated above.

but if you wanna save that extra $400-$500 i would say just get stock ls6 heads. much better then ls1 heads anyways

i would say if you are that tight on money, just stick with the stock ls6 heads. like mentioned above, it should be around 15-30hp. good luck man.

I am currently running a set of unported 243's, full bolt on's, G5X3 cam, on my Stalled A4 and making 403/405 to the wheels...

Looking to install some TF215's this coming spring...
