Default LPE releases Darton wet sleeve LS1/LS6 block conversions

We have finally perfected the machining process required to install the Darton modular wet sleeve sets into production LS1 or LS6 blocks.
This has been an ongoing project for quite some time, but we have finally resolved all of the leaking, and cooling issues, and are so confident in these sleeves that we are also offering an installed package using this block.

We can do the conversion on your block, or supply you with a core block if you like.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you,

Ed

Great news!

The pricing for the sleeves and machining is listed on your web page which is informative.

You don;t indicate the estimated price of a core block if a customer wishes to buy the core from you, however....

Sorry....your web page does say the core is $600 which is competitive with other vendors...

Thanks...

ED:
There has been a lot of debate here about which system, (dry or wet sleeve)is better. Obviously, you choose the wet sleeve system for good reasons.

Can you tell us why?

Are there any special considerations; do you need special head gaskets, head bolts, or other things to assemble the engine...some have suggested that this system is prone to lift heads under extreme loads; can you comment on this?

Thanks...
