Default torquer v.2 vs tsp 233/239

Well finally i have narrowed it down to one of these 2 cams. Just need alittle more input from you guys to help deside. The car gets driven pretty much on the weekends only and alot of that time is at the track or going cruising with friends or once in awhile stop light to stop light stuff. Both cams make alot of power and i am wonder if you have one of these cams can you give me your input, how does it drive, e/t at the track, how much power through a AUTO/STALLED car, etc.... Wanting to choose here in the next week or two. Thank you guys in advance for your input. P.S. I have PS LT, tsp ory, lmII, ls6 intake, slp intake flow pac, umi suspension, ss3600 stall. Let me know guys.

i voted T2 but u'll be happier with a "El torro" cam 230/230 .612/.592 111+2 thats cam will make alot more under the curve power(TQ) and peaks close to the same as above cams proven

I don't know about the other, but I have a T2 and love it. I make 414 through a 9" with 4.11 gears but my track times seem to do pretty damn good here, even against bigger cube guys.

T2 has more under curve power then your other cam choice thats 4 sure....but still El Torro will make a better street car i.e. more usable power under the curve and not having to spin the motor higher to get that power and TQ like ur other 2 cam choices

i am not for sure, i thought the v3 u had to spin higher to make more power, i still have stock rod bolts to, i want to have the power and not have to spin to 7k till i can change those, and i have a ss3600 so i am not worried about power below that area really cause as soon as i stomp on it, it will be were it makes good power, correct me if i am wrong and also i need the opinions also, thanks

the Torquer 3 wont need to spin over 6600 max...7k is more like the MS4. I'm going with the T3 myself this spring. The T3 is supposed to be better everywhere in the curve but it requires better springs because of the 649lift on intake.

check out this thread; T3 is badass:https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...mparision.html

Both camshafts should work well for you, but personally I'd look torquer 2 or better yet Torquer 3. The 3 camshaft makes power earlier & made a few more peak hp over the T2 camshaft.
